Impact Recruits 2025 – Part 4

As always, the players featured aren’t ranked in any meaningful order, as we at FrogJump do not rank incoming recruits. However, below are some faces I believe we should get to know, as I feel they can potentially make an impact on their teams in the 2025 season. Parents, do not email me asking “why was my athlete not listed”… you will not like my response. Dive into part IV!

Keaton Hendry – Setter – California Lutheran

With the departure of Taylor Marks, the Kingsmen will be looking to find a new set of hands to lead their offense in 2025. Hendry is a great candidate to do so, as I get Matt Grace vibes watching his film. He’ll have to battle for the starting spot with another incoming transfer, but he’s definitely capable.

Reece Dodd – Middle Blocker – Arcadia

The reigning DMA Player of the Year out of Delaware is a big recruiting win for Arcadia. The 6’8 Middle Blocker will bring needed size to the Knights. He’ll need some time to adjust to the speed of the collegiate game, but I’d be shocked if he didn’t start sooner rather than later.

Alex Solodky – Outside Hitter – Rutgers Newark

The first of two Rutgers prospects to catch my attention this year. Solodky is a young pin with decent size and speed for this level of play, and theoretically pairs well with Lucas Blanco with the departure of Chromulak.

Sean Murphy – Outside Hitter – Kean

A deceptively electric pin out of California, Murphy is an exciting pick up for Kean this season. He’s undersized at 6’0 but makes up for it with a great vertical. Cue the highlight reel.

Massimo Rocco – Middle Blocker – Volleyball

The pipeline continues, as Massimo Rocco continues the long tradition of Old Bridge High School players taking their talents to Rutgers Newark. The only point against Massimo is he’s a tad undersized for a MB at 6’4, but he’ll be bouncing balls sooner rather than later.

Impact Transfer

Nate Diaz – Setter – California Lutheran

Diaz transfers into California Lutheran after spending some time at OCC. Profile wise, he plays a lot like a 6’4 Gene McNulty, which should win a lot of games considering the rest of the 2025 starting lineup is returning for CLU.
