Team of the Week

The FrogJump Team of the Week is our weekly honor roll, recognizing some of the top performances at each of the seven positions from the last week. Honorees are nominated by SID/Coaches across the country and selected by a committee of FrogJump staff.

Jacob LaBouliere – Outside Hitter – Wentworth

LaBouliere finished the week with an impressive 44 kills while hitting .661%. His dominant play was instrumental in helping Wentworth secure victories over North Park, Rivier, and Regis.

Martin Radomski – Outside Hitter – Benedictine

Radomski had a fantastic week, playing a key role in Benedictine’s wins over Rockford and Dominican. He finished with 29 kills (4.14 kills/set, hitting .560%).

Matisse Lee-Maarek – Middle Blocker -Hunter

Lee-Maarek had a standout performance against Baruch, recording 18 kills while hitting an impressive .615%. His strong play at the net was a major factor in Hunter’s victory, helping them secure the top seed in the CUNYAC conference.

Andrew Cross – Middle Blocker – Mount Union

Cross’s strong performances secured his first team of the week award this year. The senior middle helped Mount Union go 2-1 against Wittenberg, Geneva, and MSJ, tallying 22 kills (2 kills/set) and 9 blocks.

Hunter Oshman – Opposite Hitter – Wentworth

Oshman joins his teammate Laboo on this week’s honor roll. In victories against North Park, Regis, and Rivier the senior Opposite recorded 30 kills (3.33 kills/set, .410%) 12 blocks (1.3 blocks/set) and 7 digs.

Matt Knab -Setter – Messiah

Knab was instrumental in the Falcons victory over MAC opponents Kings. The senior setter finished the match with 34 assists and 8 aces.

Michael Dougherty – Libero – Stevenson

Dougherty had a standout defensive performance during the week, recording 42 digs (4.2 digs/set) in matches against Widener, Stevens, and Kings.
