The FrogJump Team of the Week is our weekly honor roll, recognizing some of the top performances at each of the seven positions from the last week. Honorees are nominated by their SID/Coaches and selected by a committee of FrogJump staff.
James Haag – Outside Hitter – NYU

James Haag showed everyone why they need to fear the NYU Violets this year. The Outside Hitter had 12 kills, 2 errors, on 19 attempts (.516 %) and 3 aces in NYU’s shocking upset of reigning National Champions Carthage. Haag showed the skillset of a dominant OH1, and will look to keep the show going as the Violets take on the preeminent D3VB power Springfield on Tuesday.
Jacob Labouliere – Outside Hitter – Wentworth Institute of Technology

A Pepperjack breakout pick, Labouliere was key in the Leopards perfect start this weekend (highlighted by their signature win over Nazareth). His best game came against Baruch, where he went 10-0-12 (.833%).

McGuire ended the weekend with 20 kills (1.5/set) on a .545 hitting percentage, 100 assists (7.69 / set) and 11 total blocks (.85 per set).
